HouseIndex provides a free platform for Canadian homeowners to list their properties and connect with potential buyers. We do not provide real estate brokerage services and are not involved in actual real estate transactions.

As a user of HouseIndex, you agree to:

• Ensure you have the legal right to list the property
• Upload only photos you own or have permission to use
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit to HouseIndex, including photos, descriptions, and property information. By submitting content, you grant HouseIndex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our Platform.

5. Listing Review and Removal

HouseIndex reserves the right to review, approve, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion. We may remove listings that violate these terms, contain false information, or are deemed inappropriate.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

HouseIndex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the qualification of buyers, or successful property sales. Users engage with other parties at their own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

HouseIndex shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or transactions with other users.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of HouseIndex is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use your information in accordance with Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
